Which Screening is Best for My Situation?
Schedule a PACE screening to understand which cognitive skills are the underlying causes of why a student or adult is having difficulty with the following areas:
- paying attention
- learning to read or spell (struggles to sound out words)
- slow with math facts
- does not complete assignments
- memory
- comprehending or understanding
- working too hard for what is achieved.
Schedule a HANDLE screening to understand the root causes of learning difficulties from a sensory/motor/processing perspective and how the brain and body systems work together. This screening investigates the following systems:
- Olfaction (sense of smell)
- Tactility (sense of touch)
- Vestibular (sense of balance -inner ear)
- Muscle Tone (tension around muscle and readiness of muscle to respond)
- Proprioception (body awareness in space)
- Auditory Sequencing (following directions)
- Visual Tracking, Binocular Conversion, Light Sensitivity
- Kinethesia (awareness of position & movement of body parts)
- Attention (priorities of focus)
- Differentiation (ability to turn thoughts on and off automatically)
- Lateralization (right/left dominance)
- Interhemispheric Integration (coordination between left & right hemispheres)
