TESTIMONIALS

All of us at one time or another question our parenting skills or ask "What am I doing wrong?" when we don't get the results we expect from our parenting techniques. Peg gave me very practical concrete strategies that we can all use to become effective parents. These parenting techniques go beyond just solving a particular problem or problem behavior. They teach our children the broader "real world" skills they need to become responsible thinking adults. I also learned that my behavior and reactions were actually escalating my child's bad behavior. I am excited to implement what Peg has taught me and to break the cycle of ineffective parenting techniques that many of us have inherited from our parents, grandparents, etc. Peg's witty delivery of the material, role playing exercises made it a pleasure to take the course. In addition, the fact that Peg has made herself available for "quick consults" to us via phone, email and "booster" classes shows her commitment to her clients by providing the guidance we need to implement the program. We were and are very happy with the coaching. It helped us a lot in understanding our children and our selves and how to deal with our kids in a loving, supportive, clear and direct way. We would always recommend you and your coaching. Thank you. I & C

I was a little skeptic at first. I enjoyed our first phone call and they way you handle presenting what we would be doing. I knew how valuable this was going to be, not just to my son, but to our entire family. I learned right away I was going to be changing and that was empowering. I have taken all kinds of courses in parenting and early childhood education. I am an experience parent and a good parent....now I feel I am an even better parent. Carolyn

Before we were referred to you, I had been to various therapist, psychologists, read scores of self-help books and tried many strategies to manage my 8 year old son. He is a very challenging child. ... With your help, I am learning to communicate better, providing him with more choices, decreasing the power struggles between us..... Our house is more quiet and peaceful without the yelling and screaming....the improvement is our relationship is worth the effort! Jonna

The parent coaching is working for us. We have tried every kind of counseling and doctors, but no one was ever able to tell us exactly how to handle our son. We have only worked with you a short time, and already our family is turning around. Part of what has really helped is that we are able to get help by phone or email. Being able to talk me through an episode while it is happening is great!. I would highly recommend your coaching to anyone needing help with their children. Thanks. Susan

We have made an effort to change some things and are noticing a happier household overall. The concepts are great and when applied, really do work. Kathy

What a blessing you have been! I enjoyed the coaching very much and it helps much to have your feelings validated. The concepts of affordable mistakes was so helpful. As a parent, I have fallen into the trap of trying to overcompensate and that had not been working out for me. I highly recommend this coaching to other parents. Marie.
